Abbott, Inc. specializes in heavy industrial steel fabrications and installations. The majority of our work
is lumber mill equipment and related components.  We also perform a variety of steel fab and installations
for the agriculture industry, as well as fire fighting equipment.  To see some of our work, please visit the
Photo Gallery at left.

The business was established in 1986 by Pete Abbott, who has over 30 years experience in the field of
steel fabrication and installation of various steel structures and machinery.  An Idaho corporation, the
business is a registered contractor in the states of Idaho, Washington, and Montana.

Facilities
Two large fab shops and a machine shop comprise 7000 square feet and are well equipped to
accommodate projects of all sizes; from the smallest machined part to complete sawmill systems.  Both
shops are equipped with overhead cranes, large fab tables, a myriad of welding equipment, and fully
automated tooling for all fabrication needs.

The machine shop has a 3-ton overhead crane, 4 lathes, vertical and horizontal band saws, drill presses,
shop presses, and a large vertical mill.  Many projects are completed with the aid of two Lagunmatic CNC
machines.

On-Site and In-Shop Work Force
Our field operations arrive on-site fully equipped with mobile welding capabilities, rolling stock, and a
14-ton crane truck to accommodate installations. Though fully capable of large industrial fabrications, no
welding or machining project is too small for our in-shop work.  We also handle a wide variety of weld
repair and fab work for many every day needs.

Serving the Northwest for over 20 years
Abbott, Inc. takes prides in the quality work we produce and our repeat business is our best compliment
for a job well done.  We realize that no project is generic; therefore, we specialize in working with our
customers to build equipment to their specifications.

We would appreciate an opportunity to be a part of your next project.  Please feel free to contact us.  We're
happy to visit with you on the phone or meet with you at your site to discuss your specific needs.  We also
invite you to visit our facilities and see first-hand our fabrication and machine shop capabilities.
